1. Introduction
Welcome to The LearnDash Developers Club (“the Club”). By joining the Club, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your membership and participation in the Club, which provides access to various developer resources, communication channels, and other benefits.
2. Open Resources
The following resources are open to the public and do not require membership:
- Developer Resources: Access to developer documentation, changelogs, and product translations.
- Free Swag: Eligibility to receive free swag for contributing to our product, including translations and focus group participation. Subject to the shipping restrictions mentioned below.
3. Membership Benefits
As a member of the Club, you will have access to the following benefits:
- Slack Space: Access to our Slack space for direct communication with the LearnDash team, subject to restrictions mentioned below.
- Email Newsletter: Subscription to our email newsletter, which provides customer insights and product updates.
- Experts and Third-Party Listing (Integrations) Submissions: Ability to submit your work for listings on our “Experts” and “Third-Party” add-on pages. Acceptance of submissions is at the sole discretion of LearnDash and subject to specific limitations, mentioned below.
- Early Access: Invitations to early access product trials, when possible.
- Focus Groups: Opportunities to sign up for quarterly focus groups with our Product Owners.
4. Free Swag Shipping Restrictions
Free swag can only be shipped to countries supported by Printful. Members residing in countries not supported by Printful are not eligible to receive free swag due to shipping restrictions.
5. Slack Space Regulations
The Slack space is to be used as a development resource. It is not intended for priority support requests. Use this workspace to:
- Collaborate with others
- Make product suggestions
- Provide general product feedback
- Let us know if you find Knowledge Base docs that need to be updated
- Look for announcements from the LearnDash team
- If you are provided with a product to test before its official release, you are required to use this Slack space to provide your feedback unless otherwise instructed.
- One or more of the LearnDash product owners will reply to messages and posts within 5 business days (once per week).
- Disparaging comments are not tolerated. Treat all members of the Club with respect and provide criticism in the form of constructive feedback.
- Self-promotion is prohibited. This is a collaborative product management space, not a marketing forum.
6. Expert and Third-Party add-on Submission Requirements
- Expert and Third-Party add-on and integration listings are accepted at the sole discretion of LearnDash, based on an audit by our team.
- These listings require a minimum of an affiliate link, high quality logo, and an ongoing relationship with LearnDash.
- You must maintain your Club membership to remain in these programs.
- LearnDash will promote these programs as a whole, but not individual listings unless otherwise specified in an additional partnership agreement.
7. Member Expectations
- Feedback: Members are expected to provide regular and constructive feedback on LearnDash products. If given a product to test in advance of release, members must provide feedback in Slack or a dedicated form.
- Confidentiality: Members may be exposed to information not available to the public, like our roadmap plans. Such information is to be kept confidential and not shared outside the Club. Violation of this confidentiality requirement will result in removal from the Club.
8. Product Development and Intellectual Property
LearnDash reserves the right to create any feature or add-on for LearnDash at our discretion, regardless of whether it conflicts with or duplicates something created by members of the Club. The roadmap is determined by customer feedback and LearnDash must maintain a quality core product that meets customers’ needs.
9. Facebook Group
The LearnDash Facebook Group is currently outside the scope of the Club. However, this may change in the future, and members will be informed accordingly. Management of the LearnDash Facebook Group falls under the LearnDash Customer Experience and Marketing Teams. The LearnDash Developers Club is managed by the Product Team.
10. Termination of Membership
LearnDash reserves the right to terminate the membership of any individual who violates these terms and conditions or engages in conduct detrimental to the Club or LearnDash.
11. Amendments
LearnDash reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any changes, and continued participation in the Club constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
